STARRY CURTAIN UNVEILED

Life on earth is an open night sky
Engulfing the universe in supreme blackness
Dotted with stars, the forget-me-nots of angels,
A reminder of hope in this consummate darkness.

The sky is mysterious, its secret well hidden
Behind clouds that mask its beauty and light;
Life, just as well, is a mind boggling riddle
And its answers will never be revealed without a fight

But though I may fight, and the clouds disappear
Leaving the stars to glitter and shine,
Is there such a way I can reach high enough?
To be able to pull a star and swim it as mine?

No, for life is a mere illusion,
A phrase impossible to remain forever;
A testing place of courage, faith and strength
Wherein I am a tourist, not an owner, not a dweller.

NO, for the night, in all its beauty,
Is a mere prelude to a day full of light;
Life is a prelusion to heaven, so perfect,
Eternally beautiful, eternally bright.

LAND OF DREAMS

Wonder if we make in the land of dreams.
A world full of mystery where nothing is what it seems.
Twilight is the mother of this land.
Darkness is the touch, the embrace of her hands
Caressing us like the icy touch of snow.
For every thought of hatred, a dreary fear she would show.
Caress the light that you would never see.
For this is your place, your time, your destiny
Take your place among fools and jesters.
Cover the truth with their gags and laughter’s.
Dance with the elegance of power and wealth.
To mask your past, the sadness you’ve felt.
Cry in pain for your agony of a broken heart.
Watch the shards fall, as your life tears apart.
Wake now for the nightmare to end.
Flee from this place where time will never spend.
As we open our eyes, smoke covers our memories, Mist…
Far from our reality we found the truth, Bliss.

LIGHT IN MY SIGHT

Down in a dark crypt, I lay,
Where not even a glimmer
Can be seen nor left,
It is my cradle, my throne.
But as I roamed around my
Seemingly dark locus,
I heard a sound that is queer to me,
A loud, deafening sound I’ve never heard ever.
Hoping that the sound will soon end,
I suddenly heard something,
Something as if cracked,
So I crawled forward, I crawled slowly.
I stopped and for the first time
I saw light which made me stepped back a bit.
Little by little, I gained strength and with that sight
I became fearless at the more instance.
Thought I was satisfied, I suddenly turned helpless.
So helpless, I submitted myself to the light.
And then, a new journey began,
A new story was formed,
I was able to straighten up every bend,
I was able to find,
Find myself,
Again.

ON THE VERGE OF DESTINY

Believed I have not in the winds of fate,
Nor do I follow the dictates of my destiny.
For the guiding tides, I shall never wait,
And to storms of circumstance I shall not flee

“Foolish you are,” said a dear friend to me,
For you deny destiny and to your fate unyielding.
Through the passage of time soon a grave you’ll be,
And to the grim reapers cleave you’ll have no shield.

I replied that my life I’ll leave not to chance,
Through I know that I’m weak of mortal flesh and breath
All my life, I shall play like a well practiced dance,
Knowing that with love in my life I shall conquer death

AMAZED, AMUSED and BEWILDERED

Tell me in what proper way, oh dear,
Can this man’s love be fulfilled?
Can my whispers be guided by your touch?
And my will be controlled by your wishes?

I was caught in your web of passion,
Mesmerized by the power of your eyes,
Succumbed my thinking to your hands,
And Lay in the garden of your love.

Your voice soft as angel’s song,
And eyes black as the night,
Makes my living drowsy with the harmony
And enslaved my thoughts completely!
